Nicole Kidman assumes her most difficult role to date.
The winner of an Oscar is unrecognizable in Destructive, a startling drama about a Los Angeles police detective who has infiltrated to infiltrate a gang and faces the consequences of years later. The trailer begins with Kidman talking to her daughter and showing how she was hijacked with detective Chris of Sebastian Stan, whom she was in love with.
"I've spent my whole life fighting, jealous, hungry, scared. I want to find something suitable, good, "she said to her daughter. "You can be better than me."

The trailer then shows flashes of what Kidman went through during the relay, with suggestions that she could have flipped to the other side at some point. But although she tried to leave this life behind, she was forced to reconcile with her past when it seems that the gang is back.
"I just wanted a good thing," she said at the end.
Kidman arrested by PEOPLE and EWDuring the Toronto International Film Festival where she said how excited she was to play the kind of damaged anti-hero role that is usually reserved for men.
"I grew up with these kind of movies," she said. "I watched [Al] Pacino plays these roles, I saw all the men of the 70s have the chance, but I do not have a wife [equivalent]. It's exciting as an actor to have the chance to do it. "
The Australian actress is almost unrecognizable in the film and Kidman said she loved having the chance to dive into Bell's complex psyche.
"This character is also very far from me, so it's part of his attraction as an actor: to go to places where I did not have the chance to leave," she said. "I'm all about finding characters and stories that [make me] it's new, but it's still emotionally relevant.
