The tension at the end of the fourth game of the American League championship series put the Red Sox fans on the edge of their seats. Yet Andrew Benintendi's shooter has allowed a Red Sox broadcaster to take a step further, throwing him completely out of his chair.
Joe Castiglione, the long-time Red Sox broadcaster on WEEI, blocked the landing during the live call of the final despite the fall of his seat in the wake of Benintendi's excellent game for the purpose of preserve an 8-6 win in Boston.

A hustle and bustle was heard in the background of the radio show while Castiglione called Benintendi's catch. And after his voice seemed to move away briefly from the microphone, the 71-year-old – who quickly recovered – added, "as I headed madly into my chair!"
Without losing a beat, Castiglione returned in the circumstances of the last win in Red Sox ALCS, while Boston took a 3-1 lead in the series.
