In a new interview on Australian television, David Beckham said about his marriage to Victoria Beckham: "To be married as long as necessary, you know, it's always a hard job."

Victoria Beckham, who married David in 1999, told Vogue magazine: "It's been 20 years since people invented things about our relationship, and David and I have a habit of ignoring these nonsense and continuing as usual.

"But these things have a wider impact on the people around us, and it's unfair."

"We both realize that we are stronger together than we are as individuals," she added.

During the summer, the couple denied any idea of ​​divorce, claiming that the rumors were "very odd" and "an embarrassing waste of time".

Victoria and David Beckham met for the first time 21 years ago during a football match.

They were married at a sumptuous ceremony in July 1999 at Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin.
