A woman filmed abandoning a 2-year-old boy at the door of a stranger in Spring, Texas

SPRING, Texas (KTRK) –

A little boy was dropped outside the door of a stranger and abandoned by a woman who ran away.

Deputy Ministers of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office are investigating the fact that a woman found the toddler left at her door in Block 30700 of Legends Ridge Drive around 8:20 pm. Wednesday.

The woman called 911 and said she heard a knock on the door. When she went to meet the door, she found a 2-year-old black child standing without any adults.

The resident showed a surveillance video of the deputy ministers showing a woman arriving home by white car. The suspect could be seen running towards the front door of the house while lifting the child by the arm.

Once the woman arrived at the front door, she rang the doorbell, knocked on the door and then returned to her vehicle, abandoning the 2 – year – old child and two bags that were. she wore. The entire incident lasted 23 seconds.

Authorities describe the suspect as a black woman who appears to be between 25 and 30 years old, with long hair reaching size.

She has several tattoos on the right arm that can be seen in the video.

At this point, the identity of the suspect and the child is unknown. The child is not injured and appears to be in good health. Child protection services were called to the scene and took custody of the child and used to identify his family.
