ASHBURN, Va. – Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman took advantage of his rivalry with Dez Bryant. That does not mean he'll miss out on the receiver on Sunday when the Redskins host the Dallas Cowboys.
Dallas has cut Bryant in the off season and he remains unsigned. So, instead of a dominant Norman-Bryant scenario this week, it's all about the game – and it's good with Norman.
"I'm a little relieved by all the discussions and I can play a quiet game, it's nice," Norman said Thursday.
Their rivalry began three years ago, when Norman was playing for the Carolina Panthers and Bryant held two passes for 26 yards at Thanksgiving. Afterwards, Norman fired the first round.
