Duke and Duchess of Sussex Unveil Sydney Anzac Memorial

TThe Duke and Duchess of Sussex paid tribute to the war dead in Australia at the unveiling of the 84-year-old Anzac Memorial.

The Anzac Memorial at Hyde Park in Sydney, commemorating the sacrifices of those who served for Australia and New Zealand, was designed in the 1930s by Bruce Dellitt.

But after the Great Depression, finances were no longer available to materialize Dellitt's vision, including a cascading waterfall at four levels on the Liverpool Street side of the monument, a reality.

The Duke, Scott Morrison, New South Wales' Prime Minister Gladys Berejiklian and David Elliott, Minister of Veterans Affairs, a covered morning in Sydney.

There were also crowds along Liverpool Street, while more people – and a cardboard cutout of Harry and Meghan – were watching from the balconies as the members of the royal family arrived.
