Hyde was traded to the Jaguars in exchange for a mid-round pick. Since then it has been confirmed that it was a fifth round pick in 2019 when we were back in Cleveland.
Hyde was a workhorse in Cleveland, averaging 19.0 assists per game with minimal impact on the passing game. But his average precipitation left a lot to be desired, falling to 3.4 yards per bag. Hyde played only one match with the Browns with an average of over 4.0 (against the Jets on Thursday) and only solidified his Fantasy total with touchdowns, five to his first four games.
Jacksonville halfbacks averaged 18.5 stakes per game, but had only one touchdown. If ever there was a physical power, two rusher descendants to fit in perfectly in the race stroke attack, Jacksonville's first race, is Hyde.

Back in Cleveland, Hyde's departure is a clear sign that the team is ready to go ahead with Chubb, the rookie. This should be a very good thing for the Browns and Fantasy Football managers.
Chubb has a lot of power but also has a speed that the Browns could never dream of Hyde. We saw him almost every week when he was with Georgia at college, we saw this pre-season when he racked up at least 12 yards on five separate runs (one out of nine) and we've seen during the regular season. Scored at least 17 yards on four different scopes – one in four. This includes a 63-yard touchdown run against the Raiders.
He will begin his climb with the first tryouts for Cleveland starting this week against the Buccaneers. Duke Johnson should play in the role of third goal, a performance he's had for much of this year but that did not have much to see. His first match with more than 10 Fantasy points took place last week.
Chubb is an instant top 20 and Johnson is a better choice of PPR than non-PPR flex. In the long run, Chubb should emerge as a # 1 boundary based on its workload and escapement potential. Do whatever is necessary to remove him from waivers and be aggressive in trading for him.
