Former Tennessee coach Butch Jones, now part of Alabama staff, receives a bath of Gatorade upon his return to Knoxville

Butch Jones has certainly not experienced the worst day of Saturday. As a football analyst for Alabama, he witnessed Crimson Tide's victory over Tennessee (58-21), his former employer. And the game was in Knoxville, Tennessee.

It was not surprising that Alabama players thought it best to give Jones a Gatorade swim at the end of the match. You can watch the video below, courtesy of Bill Bender from Sports News.

It's a moment that Jones has probably appreciated. Not only was he on a winning edge in this rivalry for once, but Tennessee still pays him an interesting purchase from his contract as a Flight Coach.

Certainly, Jones is essentially a trainee in Nick Saban's coaching staff hierarchy. Its impact on the day of the match is at best minimal. It was not like he had returned to Knoxville as a head coach, or even as a coordinator, and had staged a monster victory against his former team. Still, you have to imagine that Jones is going to take it.
