Belfast teams sought for NASA's international hackathon

Belfast teams must participate in an international NASA hackathon.

The NASA Space Apps Challenge is an international hackathon that takes place over 48 hours in cities around the world.

Coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, designers, builders, technologists and all curiosity enthusiasts come together to meet the challenges facing the planet and space.

This will be Northern Ireland's first participation in the annual world event. Individuals and teams are invited to sign up for Collaborative Scientific Exploration to link NASA data to those that solve problems around the world.

Last year, the most important hackathon, saw 187 events and more than 25,000 participants on six continents.

The program, which aims to find creative solutions to global challenges, is expected to take off for the first time in Belfast on October 20th and 21st with an event organized by PA Consulting in its new offices at StepSpace, Center House.

Michael Crawford, Head of Digital Practice at PA Consulting, said, "We are excited to be able to host this event in Belfast for the first time, and it is an opportunity to team up with like-minded people. to create something great.The best teams will be If you are an artist, a scientist, a student, an engineer, a software developer, a player, a librarian, a mason or just a passionate and great ideas, you can you get involved.
