MASHANTUCKET, Conn. (AP) – A teenager was arrested after stabbing three people in a Connecticut mall.
New London Day reports that three young adults were taken to the hospital after being stabbed shortly after 14 hours. Saturday at the Tanger Outlet Mall at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket.
The Mashantucket Tribal Police said that a 15-year-old teenager had been arrested for stabbing. The identity of the suspect was not immediately revealed.
It was not thought that the victims' injuries put their lives in danger.
A statement from the police indicates that the incident "was immediately under control, that no lock was necessary and that regular business resumed quickly".
Casino officials issued a statement thanking first responders for their quick response.
The knife attack is still under study.
