Your parents have probably warned you never to hitchhike. But after you see After Chris Hemsworth's Sunday post on Instagram, you may be guessing their advice.
The actor and his friend Luke Zocchi went to fetch the musician Scott Hildebrand and took him – by helicopter – to a favorite surf spot.
"Picked up a hitchhiker, it was not a serial killer of which we were delighted," wrote the actor of "Thor" in the legend.
At the beginning of the video, Luke said that they "had just landed at Brizzy (Brisbane)". Australians see a hitchhiker heading in the same way: surfing Byron Bay Mecca.
"We're going to Byron, we'll take care of him," Chris offers.
"He does not know we're going to have a helicopter," Luke adds.
They stop for the hitchhiker, Scott. "Welcome to Australia, man," Luke said shaking his hand as they offered him a lift, learning that he was coming from Mexico.
Scott seems a bit overwhelmed in the video, exclaiming "No way!" when he learns that they are taking a helicopter to Byron Bay. And he does not seem to care about his new nickname: Scotty.
So, they all piled up in the helicopter: Chris the Avenger, Luke the personal trainer of the stars and the hitchhiker Scott with his guitar.
At the end of the video, the hero of the "Avengers" brings back Scott to his habits. "All right Scotty, let's go hitchhiking," Chris said.
E! The news caught up with Scott, who told them: "The experience was so cool and unexpected, they are so nice and I could not believe it was happening."
