Six people were shot down just steps from where the Jacksonville Jaguars were playing against their rival South AFC, the Houston Texans, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office announced.

Police responded at A. Philip Randolph Boulevard and Pippin Street at 1235. Sunday.

JSO said that bullets had been fired from one car on the six sidewalk occupants. Police released a photo of the suspect vehicle involved. It is described as a gray or silver four-door vehicle.

Police believe that at least two suspects remain on the run.

Of the six people killed, five were reportedly transported by emergency vehicles and one person in a private vehicle.

Police said three of the six people shot were in critical condition.

According to the police, the age of the victims varies from 20 to 70 years, five men and one woman.

Supporters walking towards their car on A. Phillip Randolph after the match found a videotape, officers and flashing lights.

"Oh my God," said Rebecca Clark, Jaguar fan. "I do not even know how to react."

Some parked inside the JSO perimeter and were driven to their car by the police.

"I can not get to my car, which is selfish at the present time, and I am heartbroken for our city," Clark said. "I'm absolutely sorry and I'm fed up."

Action News contacted the Jaguars to share their comments on Sunday's shooting and the possible impact on the safety of supporters.

We were told: "We were told that it was a case of JSO …"

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at (904) 630-0500.

Florida Governor Rick Scott said he had contacted Sheriff Mike Williams, offering all the public resources that Jacksonville would need.
