Free visit Saturday at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston
HOUSTON (AP) – Fans of spaceflight will be able to take a closer look at news during an open house at Johnson Space Center in Houston.
According to a NASA press release, Saturday's event will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the agency and the 20th anniversary of the International Space Station.
According to officials, the public will be offered a free preview of NASA's achievements. Visitors can discover lunar rocks, Apollo themed items and a traveling exhibition on the arrival station.
The Johnson Space Center is home to US astronauts and mission control.
The Saturday open house will be held from 10 am to 2 pm, the last entry being for guests at 1:30 pm
