BARRON, Wis. – Police looking for a missing Wisconsin teenager, whose parents were found murdered, are looking for a pair of vehicles that could be linked to his disappearance. Jayme Closs, 13, has been missing for a week. He had last been seen on October 15th.
At a press conference Monday, Barron County Sheriff, Chris Fitzgerald, released several new images that investigators hope can help bring Closs home, reports CBS Minnesota. They show a red car, supposed to be a Dodge Charger or Challenger from 2008 to 2014, and a black SUV, possibly a Ford Edge from 2006 to 2010 or an Acura MDX from 2004 to 2010.
The sheriff said the vehicles had been seen on surveillance cameras of homes and businesses near the Closs family's home about the time Jayme was gone and her parents had been killed.
Fitzgerald also revealed new details about the case.
"Based on our investigation to date, we believe that Jayme was at home at the time of the homicides, and we believe that she is still endangered," Fitzgerald said.
Last Monday, a frantic 911 call alerted the Barron County Sheriff's Department to the house where the investigators found his parentsDenise and James slaughtered Sheriff's office received more than 1300 tips.
Fitzgerald said that he did not know why the license plates were associated with the vehicles, but he hoped that this new information will drive more people into the community, in the state and throughout the country. , call the number (715) 537-3106.

"It's a good time, now that we have interesting vehicles, to look for changes in people's behavior or routine," Fitzgerald said. "We have both cars described – either they do not drive them anymore, they have changed their routine and what they drive or where they drive."
Fitzgerald asked 2,000 volunteers to help search Tuesday for evidence relating to Jayme's disappearance, thus covering more ground than last week's search involving 200 volunteers.
