A FACEBOOK mail published by police in northwestern England is poised to become viral after publishing a photo of David Schwimmer's thief.
The Blackpool police posted a photo of the man with the caption: "Do you recognize this man? We want to talk to him about a robbery at a Blackpool restaurant on September 20th. "
In less than 12 hours, the post had received over 75,000 comments, the majority of them making fun of the thief's resemblance to the friends star.
"I know who he is," Facebook user Jayne Freeman wrote. "He has a son, Ben, loves the taste of the wedding cake and spends time with some people in a cafe. He has a dinosaur fetish. I hope this will help you in your investigations.
"I just saw him at Blackpool Zoo with a monkey on his shoulder," Karen Long wrote in reference to Ross's company monkey on the hit sitcom, Marcel.
Danny Harrod joked on Facebook saying that people should give a break to the thief.
"Calm down everyone. This guy could have gone through difficult times. It may not have been his week, his month or even his year, "he writes.
One of the best comments is that of James Peden: "If he jumps into the sea of Blackpool, he will never catch it. I've heard that it was a very good Schwimmer. "

The Blackpool Police also has fun with the comments.
