College Football Playoffs: Semi-Finals
NOTE: This is what we think of the semi-finals. This is not a projection until the end of the season.

If you are an undefeated team of Power 5 (or Notre Dame), it will be almost impossible to be left out of the college football playoffs – as long as there will not be five Power Teams 5 undefeated total.
But there are only three of these teams left for the 9th week: Alabama (SEC), Clemson (ACC), Notre Dame. As long as they remain undefeated, expect some of these three teams to be safe in the field.
This leaves a LSU loss as another choice – at least for the moment. Backed by impressive victories against current Top 25 teams at AMP in Miami (33-17) and Georgia (36-16), the Tigers could even be ranked ahead of one undefeated team.
As for undefeated teams, the American Athletics Conference has two teams: UCF and South Florida. The teams meet on Friday, November 23, but even if one of these teams is undefeated since the beginning of the game, do not expect a serious push to the top 4.
