In a new published study, scientists have for the first time analyzed the pharmacological effects of perrottetinene, discovering that it actually activates the same cannabinoid receptors in the brain as THC, although its psychoactive potential is significantly reduced. Perhaps most interesting is the revelation that perrottetinene shows similar anti-inflammatory actions of THC in the brain, although some fundamentally different pharmacological actions have also been identified, suggesting that it could confer better medical outcomes than its more psychoactive equivalent.
