Why Alok Verma and Rakesh Asthana fight? Well, their quarrel is several months old. They are IBC Officers No. 1 and No. 2, respectively. The quarrel erupted this month when the IWC filed a judicial report designating Rakesh Asthana as the No. 1 defendant in a corruption case.
It later appeared that Asthana had written to the government and accused Alok Verma of being corrupt. In his communication, Asthana also expressed his fears that the director of CBI may attempt to involve him in a case.

The government finally intervened and sent this week to the two war officers on leave. Now they both moved the Supreme Court against the order that sent them on compulsory leave.
