Huge spool terrifies as it rolls down Houston freeway
Driving on the road in Houston, England, on the road to the road.
The spool was caught on camera by several Houston drivers rolling down I-10 east at Wayside around 11:30 am Drivers said the spool stopped on its own and police arrived at the scene shortly after to secure it.
OUT OF CONTROL: In Houston's carnage traffic, design makes a difference
Blanca Martinez was one of the unlucky drivers who witnessed the incident and it was scared even though she admits it's not unusual to see crazy stuff on Houston freeways.
"I had 2 kids in the car," Martinez said. "It's not really a surprise anymore because it always happens on I-10."
See the photos and video above for the surprise Houston drivers attended early Thursday afternoon.
