Power Forward Pistons Blake Griffin
The Detroit Pistons are about to start the bright season with a 4-0 record in a dominant performance early in the season. If they win tonight, it will be their first 5-0 start since the 2005-06 season, when they finally beat the 8-0 record.
The acquisition of Blake Griffin last season made him a powerful player. Griffin and Drummond dominated the boards and were able to significantly qualify against almost every player in the league. Nothing has changed so far this season: André Drummond has played two games from 20 to 20; He scored 26 points and 22 rebounds in Thursday's win over the Cavaliers.
The acquisition of Griffin so late last season did not allow it to have as much impact, and the Pistons did not really manage to qualify for the playoffs of last season. Now, Griffin's presence and Drummond's domination are starting to catch fire. This is one of the few teams to remain undefeated this season.

The absence of Luke Kennard is the only problem for the Pistons.
Kennard averages only 5.7 PPG this season, so his absence will likely be a fly behind the explosive Pistons. If Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond can continue to show big numbers and the players who support them can do their job, it is likely that the Pistons will continue their momentum and remain undefeated before facing the Celtics again Tuesday.
