Cash Money affiliated rapper Young Greatness, real name Theodore Jones, has died following a report of a Waffle House in New Orleans early Monday (Oct. TV station WDSU News first reported Young Greatness' death, and other New Orleans news outlets WWL, Nola and Rickey Smiley Morning Show picked up the report confirming the news. The 34-year-old rapper was most known for his 2015 single "Moolah," which later received a remix by Lil Wayne and Yo Gotti.
His mother confirmed the news with WDSU, saying, "It's too many people making slow walks to sad tombs." The shooting was reported at 1:35 am in the morning, with Jones dying at the scene. Author's comments on the shooting, and a motivation is currently unknown.
Following the news, Jim Jones posted on Instagram to offer his condolences to his family. "He was a cool kid everytime I saw him," he wrote. "I pray for his family RIP."
Murda Beatz also posted his condolences.
