For the study, published in the journal Neuro-Oncology, the university team used MRI to measure the brain size of 124 patients.

Then, 3D models were made from these so that the intracranial brain volume can be measured in milliliters.

The results of the study revealed that women with large brains are at greater risk of developing a brain tumor than men with wide brains.

"Men have bigger brains than women because their bodies are usually bigger, but that does not mean that men are smarter, but you need more brain cells to control a large body," Fyllingen said. .
