Some trains have been temporarily discontinued or have changes of origin/destination for PTC installation. This impacts the Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast Line, Morris & Essex, Montclair-Boonton and Main-Bergen-Port Jervis lines. Service is expected to be completely restored by mid-January 2019. All tickets and passes for travel in November, December and January will receive a 10 percent discount.

Through early 2019, all off-peak, one-seat Raritan Valley service will originate and terminate at Newark Penn Station to accommodate positive train control installation.
