All that Ben Askren wants is an official announcement.
The former ONE Championship welterweight champion is headed to the UFC, but the main promotion of the MMA has not yet confirmed the information with an official message or statement posted on social media or on his website.
On the other side of the historic "trade" between Askren and former UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson, ONE has already encouraged Johnson's signing a lot, including a conference call on Sunday.
Askren is just looking for love for his new home.
Hey @ ufc are you going to make an announcement? You are like this guy with a GF who is embarrassed to tell his friends even when everyone knows it! Ha ha ha you know you love me.

"Hey @ufc, are you going to make an announcement?" Asked Askren in a tweet Tuesday morning. "You are like this guy with a GF who is embarrassed to tell his friends even when everyone knows it! Ha ha ha you know you love me.
The highly anticipated and highly anticipated UFC signing in Askren was announced as an agreement reached earlier this week. The UFC traded Johnson, who signed with ONE, against Askren at the very first MMA "swap".
Askren has had a tough and complex relationship with the UFC, especially with the promotion president, Dana White, with whom he has spent the years. White has repeatedly stated that Askren did not have enough experience to fight at the UFC. At the signing of Askren, Askren has blocked Twitter on Twitter.
Since signing, Askren has called for just about every notable UFC welterweight, including former interim champion Colby Covington, Jorge Masvidal, Darren Till, as well as the former champion of the middle and middleweights, Georges St-Pierre and the current title holder of lightweight, Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Askren, unbeaten at 18-0, 1 NC, was last beaten in November, while defending for the fourth time the ONE title in a fight against Shinya Aoki, won by TKO in less than from one minute. He retired after this fight, but said he would return to the sport if he had the opportunity to prove he was the best welterweight in the world.
Askren may be training with current UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley at Roufusport in Milwaukee. He repeated many times that he would never fight Woodley.
