37-year-old Meghan Markle and 34-year-old Prince Harry were regularly photographed by world media this month, as they headed south for a royal tour.
Yesterday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex – who married in May earlier this year – took advantage of the last day of the 16-day visit to Australasia.
Prince William's brother, Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, both 36, traveled around the world on their own royal journey to Australia in 2014.
So, as the American and his wife make their comeback, how do Meghan's outfits differ from those of the Duchess of Cambridge?
While best known for their charity work and royal status, Meghan and Kate often make headlines for their stylish wardrobe choices.
Keeping in mind that she announced that she was pregnant during her trip, the Duchess of Sussex would have likely specifically selected some of her outfits. But did she take style advice from her sister-in-law? It is clear that they both have their own style, but they both adopted similar tones during their travels in Australasia.
When they seduced in white
On the photo next to her husband on her first official trip as Duchess of Cambridge, Kate opted for a stunning mid-length white dress.
The outfit – by Lela Rose – was characterized by a high neckline and a lace pattern on the shoulders and waist, and she paired the outfit with a pair of dark heels.
Meanwhile, Meghan was also photographed dressed in white while she was away on a trip to Fiji – for a similar event.
Her Zimmerman dress fell just below her knees and wore a tight bodice.
Opt for a casual outfit
During their royal tours, the two couples wore more practical outfits for the day's activities.
Although based in New Zealand, Kate wore blue skinny jeans, a matching rain coat and pale gray sneakers.
Meghan was also seen strolling with his wife in a similar outfit: navy blue jeans and a raincoat. She also wore a pair of white sneakers from the Veja eco-label.
Royal blue
Meghan made the headlines earlier this week after taking out a light blue figure.
His custom-made bi-piece, designed by Givenchy, was composed of a crew neck sweater.
But it is the navy pleated skirt that has attracted attention, its set being semi-transparent.
Years ago, Kate came out in a brighter shade of blue after landing in Canberra.
The Stella McCartney straight dress had short sleeves and the design drew attention to its slender waist.
A touch of red
For a royal commitment, Kate opted for vibrant tones – in red suit Luisa Spagnoli.
The outfit featured big black buttons in the center of the bomber jacket and a matching skirt.
Recently, in Tonga, Meghan also came out in the same bold shade, but in a very different style of dress.
Her Self Portrait garment had long sleeves, but the fabric, cut below her knees, floated in the wind around her.
