Hulk Hogan to host WWE jewel Crown Jewel

After three years of banishment, Hulk Hogan will return to the WWE scene as a Crown Jewel Host.

The 65-year-old icon hinted that he would be present at the Saudi event, but the WWE has recently confirmed his presence. This will be Hogan's first appearance on camera since WrestleMania 31.

WWE excommunicated Hogan after images of himself were used for free with the help of racial epithets. Hogan's picture was removed from all WWE commercials and the Hulkster was removed from the WWE Hall of Fame. However, this July, WWE restores Hogan amidst many controversies.

Since he's got his reinstatement, Hogan has appeared at Extreme Rules and has gone to the WWE locker room. The superstars present received mixed reviews during the apology, an assertion that Hogan himself did not seem to understand.

In the months following his reinstatement, the fans did not hesitate to oppose the return of Hogan. However, it was always a question of when not so.

Crown Jewel is an interesting choice by WWE to use as Hogan's first step. The event in Saudi Arabia has undergone a remarkable review in recent weeks and the addition of Hogan's organization apparently makes Crown Jewel the most controversial show in WWE history.

However, WWE might think that Crown Jewel – released at 2 pm ET on November 2nd – will not attract much attention in America. They could see it as an ideal and low-key way to reintroduce Hogan into the fight. But even if nobody looks at Crown Jewel, social media is going to buzz, probably indignantly.

WWE regularly deals with Internet-based animosity. As noisy as the anti-Hogan parade, WWE probably has plans for it in 2019.
