Will Pete Davidson ever found someone to marry him? He does not have very good luck so far.
In a promo for the first new episode of Saturday Night Live since his split Ariana Grande, Pleasing Pete Davidson on the end of her engagement by trying one more time with a musical guest Maggie Rogers.
"Hi Maggie, I'm Pete," said Davidson, sporting new blue-gray hair. "Do you want to marry?"
Unfortunately, Rogers refuses.
"0 for three," said Davidson sadly.
We all know that he was very publicly engaged to Grande for a few months, but does that mean that Davidson has also suggested to someone else? He dated Larry Davidthe daughter of Cazzie David before Grande, and before that, he was attending Code girl star Carly Aquilino. Whoever he has already proposed to do, it obviously has not worked either.
Previously, Davidson had only broached the split of Grande in theatrical scenes, jokingly asking if anyone needed a roommate.
Davidson and Grande began dating in May, became engaged in June and ended their engagement around October 14th. Davidson had been very open about the relationship Saturday Night Live, which was paused just before the news of the split. The show even devoted a whole pre-recorded sketch to Kyle Mooney trying to become as famous as Davidson had become during the summer, thanks to the relationship.
If Davidson discusses the split further on the live show, which will be animated this week by Jonah Hill, remains to be seen, but at least, it's good to know that he's doing pretty well after the break to make jokes in the promos.
Saturday Night Live will air on Saturday at 11:30. on NBC.
E! and NBC are both part of the NBC Universal family.
