Despite being one of the best-selling recording artists of all time, Barbra Streisand has crippling stage fright.

During an appearance on “Carpool Karaoke” Thursday, the singer revealed to “The Late, Late Show” host James Corden that she gets “scared” performing in front of fans.

“There was a moment you didn’t perform for, like, 27 years and that was because of stage fright,” Corden said. “So, do you still get nervous now?”

Streisand, 76, admitted she doesn’t get as nervous anymore, but said: “I don’t enjoy it. … I just don’t want to disappoint people.” Streisand added that before hitting the stage, she repeats the mantra, “Let go let God” to calm her nerves.

However, singing in the car with Corden was a different story. The pair were all smiles as they belted out “No More Tears,” “The Way We Were,” “Imagine/What A Wonderful World” and “Don’t Rain On My Parade.”

Corden, who usually drives his celebrity guests, took the passenger seat this time around (thanks to parking violations and a car boot) as Streisand joked behind the wheel about recently renewing her license after failing the written portion of the test three times.

“This is a huge mistake,” Corden said after Streisand took her hands off the wheel momentarily to fix her hair. “I’ll be honest, if this is how I go out, I’ll take it. It’s a good way to go out.”

Corden then asked the outspoken Democrat about living in America under the current administration. Streisand didn’t shy away from her feelings, segueing into her recently released track, “Don’t Lie to Me,” a direct address to President Donald Trump.

“That’s why I did this album,” Streisand said, referring to her new album, “Walls,” due out Friday. “Every song relates to something about what’s going on in these difficult times. The only thing I can do is write about it and tweet.”

She continued: “People deserve the truth, the truth shall set you free.”

The pair also sang a lyric from Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow,” a first for Streisand.
