BEIJING – Police said a brawl between a passenger and a bus driver drove Sunday the bus to the fall of a bridge in southwestern China, killing 13 people on board and two missing. The Chongqing local government released a short video Friday showing everything was going on.

The first half is a surveillance video of the bus. One sees a passenger hitting the driver, who retaliates, then losing control of the bus, which begins to shake violently, apparently to impact with something. The second half is a dashcam video of a car on the bay. It shows the bus making its way into the tracks in the opposite direction, colliding with a car, then hitting a guardrail and plunging into the lower Yangtze River.]

The rescuers recovered the wreckage of the bus on Wednesday night.

Police in Chongqing said the passenger was beating the driver because she was upset to have missed her stop.

The official agency Xinhua News Agency said Friday that 13 bodies were found in the river and two others were still missing. Nobody seems to have survived.

The Reuters news agency told state radio that rescuers said the bus had been found under water.
