The first official press conference of UFC 232 (video broadcast here) earlier in the night (Friday, November 2, 2018) has made much news in New York.
Not only did Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson beat each other during their intense party (see here), but Brock Lesnar's name was worn more than once.
Remember that the WWE champion is planning a return to the Octagon early next year and could possibly face current UFC heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier, who will defend his title against Derrick Lewis, the playoff artist tomorrow night at UFC 230.
When asked if Lesnar would show his face at UFC 230 to win another surprise encounter with Cormier, UFC President Dana White confirmed that the professional wrestler would only not here.
This is good news for Lesnar as Cormier expects the WWE superstar to enter the cage at UFC 230.
"People always ask me," said White, questioned that Lesnar is welcome to UFC 230. "No, he does not come here, he does not come into battle."
In any case, it would be difficult for Lesnar to reach the UFC 230 on time, the former UFC champion having found the gold of the WWE earlier today at "Crown Jewel" in Saudi Arabia by beating Braun Strowman for the World Championship.
