Hanover – The police are looking for an armed man who allegedly shot a student other than Dartmouth College shortly before 10 pm on Friday at the Reading Room on Christian Street School. The school raised its shelter on site for the university community, according to a Dartmouth alert issued around 12:35 pm All reports of shots fired around the campus were investigated, and police found no indication that shots had been fired in those areas, Dartmouth said.

Dartmouth issued an initial warning about the entire campus at approximately 10:15 pm on a "shooting incident" on School Street and West Wheelock Street. The alert advised the university community to shelter on the spot.

Police had blocked the area from School Street to Allen Street during their research, including in the area of ​​School Street, near the first scientist of the Church of Christ Scientist.
