President Trump is back in Florida for the second time this week, this time telling a crowd of people in Pensacola that "this election is a security matter." The Saturday night rally was the second day of the day for Mr. Trump, who had arrived from Montana and had organized the rally in the airport hangar.
Mr. Trump criticized Florida's Democratic candidates, claiming that he had "never received an appeal from Bill Nelson," the Democratic State senator. Mr. Trump criticized Tallahassee, located about 200 km from Pensacola on the Florida Panhandle, as "one of the largest problem cities in America". Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum is the Democratic nominee for the governorship. Mr. Trump called him a "radical socialist … who will not do good things for Florida".
Still on the subject of safety, Mr. Trump said, "When you're camping on your lawn, remember Gillum."
Mr Trump hailed the region's recovery after Hurricane Michael, who hit the Florida Panhandle on 10 October. But he said the hurricane resulted in job losses, but that "despite your hurricane", jobs were added in October. "If you add these numbers, which I will not care to do, it's really crazy," he said about the 250,000 jobs created in October.
In addition to the increased attention to Florida, Mr. Trump has addressed many familiar themes of security, economics, immigration, Justice Brett Kavanaugh of the Supreme Court, " Radical Democrats "and US leaders" apologize for your great country ". He only touched the media, saying briefly "we are still debating three people: the person, plus the media, against me".
At the start of the rally, Mr. Trump was arrested because a woman needed medical attention.
Florida was critical to Trump's victory in 2016 and if Democrats got control of governance in particular, this could show that his brand is no longer as powerful as Florida's voters. The state is also a personality of Mr. Trump, who calls his estate of Mar-a-Lago the "White House of Winter".
DeSantis, a staunch supporter of Trump, faces Democratic mayor Andrew Gillum, Mayor of Tallahassee. Polls generally show that Gillum leads Nelson with a narrow margin. A recent CNN poll showed that Gillum was in the lead among potential voters between 49 and 48 percent. Scott, the current Florida governor, contests incumbent Democratic Senator Bill Nelson. According to one CBS News Battleground Tracker: poll by the end of October, the two are neck and neck, Scott and Nelson receiving 46% of likely voters. CBS News Battleground Tracker attributes to this race a "throwing race".

Former President Barack Obama, who is also touring the election campaign for Democratic candidates, campaign for Gillum and Nelson Friday. If Gillum wins, he will be the first black governor of Florida.
Obama kindly reprimanded a rowdy for using blasphemies in front of children. The protester then began to whistle and Obama went back to the individual.
"If you support the other candidates, then you should support the other candidates," said Obama. "Go to their gatherings."
Periodically, the crowd chanted to drown the protester: "Bring him home! Bring him home!"
"Why are the people who won the last election so furious all the time," Obama asked. "When I won the presidency, at least my side felt pretty good."
We have seen speeches designed to divide us, said the former president to the crowd. "In four days you can control this type of behavior," said Obama in a speech addressing the themes of inclusion and social justice. You can choose a more generous vision of America, "where love and hope conquer hatred," he said.
