MTV EMAs: Camila Cabello wins big

Camila Cabello has become the winner of the MTV Europe Music Awards.

She won four awards, including Best Artist, Best Video, Best Song and Best Actor on Sunday.

The 21-year-old thanked her fans in Spanish at the ceremony in Bilbao.

She said: "I love my fans so much.I know what it's like to be a fan.I know how special this link is.I love you.I see you. Gracias. "

Nicki Minaj and Little Mix played together

Nicki Minaj descended from the ceiling in a gigantic black cage veiled in the middle of fireworks for her performance before winning the prize for best hip-hop group.

Little Mix then joined her on stage for the elaborate opening.

Duo Jack & Jack, we are also hanging from the roof in a sparkling show.

BTS won for the best fans

The giants of the K-Pop BTS have won a prize for having the biggest fans.

The seven-member group defeated Shawn Mendes, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and Camila Cabello.

Janet Jackson was honored

Singer Janet Jackson received a Global Icon Award.

During her 40-year career, she has also performed a mixture of songs with a mix of African drummers, flaming torches, fire-eaters, more than 20 dancers and a raised scene surrounded by flames.

She called for justice for women who silenced their voices.

She said: "I am moved to speak for the voices of women stifled.I am one of those women, women gagged, literally and emotionally, women victims of violence, women intimidated, women lived in fear.

"I am with you, you are my sisters."

Go to the bathroom

Panic! At The Disco has also received a prize for the best alternative artists.

Lead singer Brendon Urie was not so nice in accepting his prize, saying, "It's happening in my bathroom."

Just a girl from Nigeria

Nigerian superstar Tiwa Savage left with the best African act.

She said, "I'm only a girl from Nigeria who lives my dreams, I'm so grateful to all those who have supported my journey so far, especially my fans, thanks MTV!"

Lindsay Lohan and Ashlee Simpson also made appearances on stage during the event.

The show celebrated its 25th edition this year. MTV's EMAs take place each year in a different European city, with winners being selected by the continent's fans.

Other winners include: Marshmello – best electronic act; Dua Lipa – the best pop; Cardi B – best new artist; 5 SOS – Best Rock Artist and Shawn Mendes – Best Live Artist.
