Hawley leading in two urns as Trump travels to Missouri

Republican Josh Hawley leads Democrat Claire McCaskill in a new round of two polls, as President Donald Trump prepares to face Hawley in the tight race in the Missouri Senate.

Polls conducted by Emerson College and Republican Trafalgar Group gave Hawley a three to four point lead over incumbent McCaskill in one of the most watched races in the mid-season. The last average RealClearPolitics poll shows that the race is at the rendezvous with Hawley at only 0.5 points.

Yet another poll released Monday at McCaskill at the summit. The Democrat takes a three-point advantage over the Republican Attorney General in a NBC News / Marist poll.

Trump plans a rally on Monday night in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

"Whatever she says, Senator Claire McCaskill will still vote against us and the great state of Missouri!" Said Trump on Twitter Monday morning. "Vote for Josh Hawley – he will be a great senator!"

The latest polls from FiveThirtyEight and CNN show that Republicans retain control of the Senate after Tuesday's midterm elections and Democrats come to the House.
