Election day is tomorrow, November 6th, so the time has come to put everything in order to vote. If you're still looking for information about who's running, what ballots and where the nearest polling place is, check out our complete voting day guide. And if any of your concerns relate to polls, keep reading.
Citi Bike's parent company, Motivate, announced last week that it would offer free bike rides all day in New York, as well as in eight other cities, to encourage greater voter turnout. But if cycling is not your job, there are other options.
Uber
On polling day, Uber will offer a $ 10 discount on a single trip to the polls, with the most affordable option available (whether Express POOL, POOL or UberX). Just enter the code VOTE2018 in the application, under the option "Payment" where it says "Add a promotional code".
Lyft
Lyft is associated with Buzzfeed to offer 50% off the races in New York on Election Day. Visit Buzzfeed to generate your promo code.
Citi Bike
As previously mentioned, Citi Bike will offer free passes all day on polling day. Just use the code BIKETOVOTE to take advantage of the offer.
Lime
If you live on Staten Island or in the Rockaways, Lime offers free rides on its bikes without dock, located in both places. Use the code LIMETOVOTE18 to redeem your points.
Getaround
In New York, Getaround offers a $ 10 discount on all reservations made on Election Day. Your code for saving is GETAROUND2VOTE.
Zipcar
If you use Zipcar to go to the polls on polling day, between 6 pm and 6 pm and 10 hours, you will get $ 20 off on a future trip.
And although the MTA does not offer a special pass or discount on polling day, there is always that, if all else fails.
