Marcos Forestal, 28, was arrested after being involved in an accident that killed Krystil Kincaid and his unborn child Sunday, the police said. Zach Kincaid told KTLA that his children thought they would visit their mother at the hospital to welcome their new brother.

Krystil Kincaid leaves an 11-year-old daughter and two sons aged eight and four. She also had a 14-year-old daughter-in-law.

According to the website, Forestal is a Cuban boxer who is the world heavyweight champion of the World Boxing Federation. After the crash on Sunday, a man identified as Forestal said in a live video that he had "had an accident," reported El Nuevo Herald.

"Guys, a car appeared and I had an accident," said Forestal. "Look what happened to me, gentlemen, a car came in front of me and looked at what happened to my car."

Authorities arrested Forestal at the scene, suspected of driving while intoxicated, resulting in serious injuries. His charges were subsequently converted to manslaughter while in a state of drunkenness.

The director of Forestal said in a statement: "I would like to offer my deepest condolences to those who have lost their loved ones in this horrible tragedy, and we are currently cooperating fully with the ongoing investigation."
