A house in a posh neighborhood of San Francisco was found destroyed after the departure of an Airbnb tenant. The photos show the house littered with used needles, stained clothes and bedding, and floor covered with pills, dirty take-away containers and empty cartons.
What real estate agent and property manager Egan Lim penetrated a few days ago in one of his San Francisco buildings is simply a nightmare.
"Working with the house that was occupied by squatters, dilapidated hoarders, nothing would have prepared me for that – it was something of a horror movie." Lim said, backing away.

Mark Prior, a Trauma Practitioner from the private crime scene cleaning company, described the conditions.
"It was horrible, horrible!" he's been eccentric. "For the person who rented here, he had had his needs all over the house and had urinated everywhere, he was drugged and his needles were everywhere in the bedding, the pillows too, it was rather horrible. the outside walk could feel it, then you would have joggers that stopped and went: "Wow, what is this smell?"
While the address and neighborhood of the house are kept private at the request of the owner, the property is valued at just over $ 5 million and in one of San Francisco's most vibrant neighborhoods with views of the Golden Gate Bridge.
The continuation of the in-laws of the house was ransacked by the tenants.

The suite has been rented for three and a half months for $ 100 a night via Airbnb. Lim can not even estimate how much damage has been done.
"We will file a complaint," he said. "A formal complaint."
Airbnb has a host guarantee program of one million dollars in case of damage. The company sent us this statement in response to our story, saying it was in touch with the owner of the house: "More than 300 million guests have been registered in Airbnb ads to date. Significant property damage (claims reimbursed over $ 1,000 under our Host Guarantee Program) was reported to us only 0.004% of the time. At this rate, you could arrange a new reservation each day for more than 63 years to file a claim for material property damage under our Host Guarantee. "
According to Mr. Lim, this incident will not prevent him from managing properties again via rental sites and is planning to rent the same suite again.
"I use Airbnb myself and I am always very confident using it or using any other vacation rental website," he said. "Everyone is subject to this kind of vandalism."
The owners plan to add security cameras to the outside of the property before renting it again.
