A British couple from London was so drunk on honeymoon that they decided to buy the hotel where they were staying.

Everyone made foolish choices after getting a little too much, but a couple got so drunk on their honeymoon that they bought a whole hotel.
Gina Lyons, 33, and Mark Lee, 35, from London, may have had a little too much rum when they made the spontaneous decision to buy the small spot at the seaside in Sri Lanka.
During their three-week trip in December 2017, the couple agreed with some of the staff at Tangalle's rustic location during their first night there.

After drinking 12 glasses of rum, they discovered that the lease was almost finished and so agreed to resume for another three years at a price of $ 39,576.

"I already felt like a bad mother because I felt guilty of wasting all that money buying a business that might not work." "It has to work," Lyons said.
The couple reopened in late July the Lucky Beach Tangalle, a seven bedroom bed & breakfast, after a renovation of about $ 8,000. Business is booming and they have since seen a steady stream of customers. But they insist that their next big decision will be sober.
