When he got up to do his shopping, he did not realize that his gun had fallen off his pants.

Later, a group of children sat on the couch and found the weapon, said Fishers Police at WTTV. One of them pulled the trigger and fired a single shot.

A spokesman for IKEA said in a statement that customer safety is the company's top priority.
