DALLAS – The Dallas policeman According to Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall, a person who shot and killed a man when she entered the wrong apartment will soon be charged.

A warrant is being published from Friday afternoon.

A five-year veteran, the officer was returning home after a shift of more than 12 hours and said that she had gone to the wrong apartment, believing it was his. At one point, she met Botham Shem Jean, 26, with whom she fired with her service weapon. The details that preceded this moment are still not known.

The officer was in uniform when the shooting occurred just after 22 hours. Thursday in the 1200 block of South Lamar, about a quarter of a mile from the Dallas Police Department.

The policeman called 911 and the authorities responded and took Jean to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. According to Chief Hall, we do not know what the interaction was between the police officer and Jean. At one point, she fired with her gun and finally hit Jean.

A blood donor was taken from the officer to search for alcohol and drugs.

Chief Hall has invited the Texas Rangers to conduct their own independent investigation. DPD says it is conducting a joint investigation with the DA.

Allie Jean, Jean's mother, said that she wanted the transparency of the policeman who shot his son.

"Come clean, tell the truth, I am a Christian and I will forgive her, but she will never be able to give me back my son," said Jean's mother.

Jean studied and studied accounting at Harding University in Arkansas.

According to the university, Botham has often led worship activities for the chapel and campus events. In a service this morning, Harding University President Bruce McLarty shared some memories of Botham with students from the chapel.

In a Facebook post, Earl, Jean's uncle published a photo collage in memory of his nephew.

"How can this wicked world be removed from me … it's the worst day of my life so far … my uncle likes him so much", a- he writes.

Jean's sister also posted the following posts on Facebook: "Last week, I was thinking of what I could offer you for your birthday, now I have to go get your casket.You will always be my little brother.I love you all my heart, she writes.
