A DEA plane crashed during a "training mission" on Wednesday because of mechanical difficulties, officials said.

At least one employee of the Drug Enforcement Administration was injured Wednesday after a single – engine plane, during a "training mission" near a Texas airport, S & L 's. is crushed against two cars after hitting a power line.

A DEA spokesman confirmed to Fox News that the plane, with three officers on board, was on a "training mission when it encountered mechanical difficulties." The plane was forced to County, southwest of Houston, which led to the accident.

The failed power lines have affected traffic and electricity in the area, the sheriff's office said.
