Absurdly Driven looks at the business world with a skeptical eye and a firmly rooted language.
He was not quite a knight in shining armor
More than a nice man in jeans and a simple car, I guess.
But a certain delivery man for Jimmy John's sandwich chain
The story was told on Twitter by Kayla Speer, of West Burlington, Iowa.
She said that she had been dating a man for three days. month. He lived three hours in a row and asked for a night to study for his finals.
Speer says that she thought she would make a kind gesture and order him a sandwich while he was working.
The order was placed & my bf had sent me a small text message before letting me know that he was going to take a nap. So I texted him saying, "Hey, food on the way for you, please leave a tip." I have not heard from him for a while, but I just assumed that he was sleeping.

Was her boyfriend really asleep, I hear you cry
Well, Speer says that he has ended up sending a "thank you".
Things all took a twisted turn when Jimmy John's delivery guy called Speer.
He asked to confirm that the recipient was really Speer's boyfriend. When she said that he was, the delivery man offered some disturbing news.
He said that he had looked into the boyfriend's house and discovered it at some stage of the alternative study. Clearly with a woman who was not Speer
The deliveryman kept saying that … "Look, we do not usually do that, but I think you'd like to know … when we walked up to # 39 at the door instead of your bf we could see in his apartment and he was in his boxer with a naked woman on the couch on the couch
– Kayla (@kayla_speer_) June 28, 2018 [19659010] Ah, Jimmy John's delivery drivers do not usually look in homes to see what's going on inside
That could be a relief for some.
Of course, for Speer, this delivery driver
I would like to thank @jimmyjohns for the incredible service they rendered to their customers, few of them would do what this deliveryman has done, and I am very grateful for calling and being honest #WWJJD (Que would do Jimmy Johns?)

#WWJJD, indeed? Do not Jimmy John's Do?
This is, indeed, an incredible service.
Although I suspect one or two philosophers – perhaps the infidels, the unworthy and the downright demonic – might believe that the delivery man should have done his job and not stick his nose in a personal sandwich that does not work. could not have been quite
And if Speer and his (now ex) boyfriend had enjoyed a kind of relationship a little less conventional and more open?
And if he was an artist who painted nude women and that he and his muse were taking a break?
And what if it was a married couple who was going through hard times? Would Jimmy John be named in the next divorce proceedings?
Would a restaurant tell a regular guest that her boyfriend had dinner with, oh, another woman?
Was this really the place of the deliveryman? to be involved? Has the recipient deserved at least one touch of privacy?
Is Jimmy John really the Moral Guardian of the Universe?
( Is this really enough questions?)
It's not as if Jimmy John's had not been involved in his own little morality controversies in the past.
In customer service, making assumptions involves certain risks. You can never know exactly who your customer is, how he lives and what he likes.
Of course, some will suspect that all this is an elaborate marketing ploy, concocted to attract attention.
Yet Jimmy John seems to believe that the delivery guy did the right thing. It is offered to respond to Speer's separation party.
KAYLA !! I would love to meet your breakup party! Let me know when and where! Please DM me your address and contact information and I will get there! https://t.co/ogfNhqAIRj

I wonder if the delivery man will be invited. I wonder what his relationship status might be.
