The family who lived where five bodies were found in a house in Perth has not been seen for a week, say his neighbors.

Desrie Cambos, who lives next to the family in Bedford, said the family seemed happy.

"We greet each other every day and the mother-in-law usually comes to help us with the three children," Cambos said.

"In our mind, they were on vacation."

According to WA police, the five people, including women and children, were found in Bedford late this morning.

The couple who lived at Coode Street House had a three-year-old daughter and twins, 18 months old. Nobody had seen them for at least a week.

The police could not confirm who was dead or how old they were still trying to warn the family.

The discovery of the bodies took place after a man of about 20 years visited a WA regional police station on Sunday morning.

The police then went to Coode Street around noon.

The man is questioned by the police, but they still have to confirm his relationship with the victims.

It is also difficult to know how long their bodies had remained in the house before the ominous discovery.

"I do not have details about the reason for his presentation, and the deadlines for this incident will be part of the investigation by the homicide squad," said Deputy Commissioner Paul Metallurgy.

"How long the bodies have been there will also be part of this chronological investigation."

Mr. Steel indicated that the investigations were still in their infancy and that the situation had not yet been fully examined.

"The detained man is the person who attended the regional police station of Western Australia," said Steel.

No charges have been filed, but the police say that there is no suspect in freedom.

"This is a tragic event that will undoubtedly have an impact not only on the family and friends of the deceased, but for the community as a whole, those first responders who have to witness a scene with several deceased people .

The police chaplain was on hand to help the police.
