The dockers at the Port of Barcelona struggled on Wednesday after the collision between a ferry and a loading crane, which collapsed and caused a major fire.
The incident, which was captured on an eyewitness video, shows the ship maneuvering in the harbor before crashing onto a huge crane at the dock.

The spokeswoman, who was not allowed to be identified by name in the media, said that a dozen fire engines and several ambulances had been rushed to the port. The fire caused by the collapse engulfed containers containing hazardous materials.
Grandi Navi Veloci, the Italian company owning the ferry, said in a statement that strong winds and sea currents prevented the ship from mooring, eventually pushing it into the harbor crane.
The ferry, of a length of 650 feet, was carrying passengers and vehicles at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported by the people on board, according to the company.
