ORLANDO, Florida – Police had to fire a woman who had brought a "squirrel with emotional support" aboard a Frontier Airlines flight from Orlando (Florida) to Cleveland.
Frontier said the passenger had noted in her booking that she was carrying with her an emotional support animal during Flight 1612 Tuesday night. But she did not say that it was a squirrel.
The airline indicates that rodents, including squirrels, are not allowed. The airline said the police were called when the passenger refused to leave the plane.
The police asked the other passengers to disembark while the police were taking care of the woman, who was finally escorted to the main terminals.
The flight left for Cleveland about two hours later.
