An employee of Taco Bell in Florida, who refused to serve a woman on the line because she did not speak Spanish, was fired.

The incident occurred Wednesday night in Hialeah, a city with a strong Spanish-speaking majority, when Alexandria Montgomery attempted to place an order in English, according to the Miami Herald.

A video of the dispute between Montgomery and the employee who identified herself as Luisa was shared on social media.

Montgomery can be heard asking for a manager, but the employee says in Spanish that she is "at home sleeping" and there is no one available to take her order, according to the Herald.

"Can you move please? I have an order behind you. There is no one who speaks English, "continues Luisa.

Despite the persistence of Montgomery, the employee has still not taken his order and closes the window of the driving service. Montgomery must then leave without food.
