A Florida teenage girl kills her mother after a fight over her notes, then buries her under a fire pit

A 15-year-old Florida boy will be charged with murder after confessing to killing his mother for a dispute over the teenager's notes, police said.

The teenager, whom NBC News does not identify, told police he strangled his 46-year-old mother in the family home from Thursday to Friday morning, according to a press release from the Volusia County Sheriff's Office. . His father was out of town at the time, the police said.

"After an argument … he went to his room and woke him up, he started strangling and strangling him until he killed her. ", said Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood, at a press conference.

On Friday early Friday, the teenager put his mother's body in a wheelbarrow to load it into a pickup truck that he drove up to the River City church, about one in kilometer from home, police said.

At River City Church, the teenager buried her mother's body under a home, police said.

Chitwood said the teenager had left school early Friday to organize a home burglary where he had killed his mother, police said. The teenager asked for help from two 17-year-old friends to organize the robbery, the police said. These teens are also facing criminal charges.

"He then went home and, in his own words, launched a" Grammy-winning 911 phone call "to talk about this horrible incident that did not really happen," Chitwood said.

Police responded to reports of a burglary at home Friday afternoon. The 15-year-old told the police that he had discovered the burglary on his return from school and that his mother had disappeared. The van was still running in the driveway.

The body of the mother was found Saturday morning in the fire house of the River City Church by the police, announced the press release.

The agents also found computers and other electronic devices, including a Playstation and rifle, at another location in DeBary, which had been moved during the burglary preparation.
