DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Authorities claim that a 15-year-old boy from Florida strangled his mother after arguing about a bad note he had received. Volusia County sheriff Mike Chitwood told CBS WKMG-TV affiliate Gregory Ramos, arrested on Saturday morning after 46-year-old Gail Cleavenger's body was found buried under fire of the church.

Investigators say that Ramos killed him after arguing about his academic achievements. Chitwood said the boy was one of the "three best sociopaths" he'd ever met, calling him "soulless person".

Chitwood says that he faces murder charges. Saturday, we did not know if he had a lawyer to represent him.

After the killing, the authorities said the boy had called friends to help him to give the impression that someone had burgled the house. The boy first told the MPs that his mother had disappeared.

"Observing how cold, insensitive and calculating it was, was probably the most shocking thing for all of us," Chitwood said. "No sign of remorse whatsoever."

The two 17-year-old friends face numerous charges.

A GoFundMe page has been created for the Cleavenger family.
