A photo taken outside the King Power Stadium tonight
The Leicester City owner's helicopter crashed into a parking lot outside the club's grounds shortly after his departure following a match.
It is not known whether Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was in the helicopter at the time.
Leicester City played West Ham United in the Premier League at their King Power Stadium.
According to information, footage of the ground showed a large fire in the parking lot, although it was turned off.

Sky Sports News reporter Rob Dorsett said the helicopter had taken off the pitch, as after every game.
He said that after a few seconds he seemed to lose control of his vehicle and crashed into the parking lot a few hundred yards away.
One witness stated that it appeared that "the tail propeller was not working, which made it spin".
Freelance photographer Ryan Brown covered the match and saw the helicopter clean up King Power Stadium before it crashed.
He told Live: "The engine stopped and I turned around, which caused a roar.
"It became silent, the blades started to spin and there was a big bang."
"There was a huge fireball" and it seemed that the helicopter had crashed into an industrial park next to the stadium.
