A London Bridge terrorist complained about Trump: report

The suspect in London Bridge's deadly attack last year was apparently motivated by a hatred of President Donald Trump and British Prime Minister Theresa May, according to reports.

Khalid Masood, 52, described May as a "liar" and complained about Trump's "racism and rudeness," according to his children's testimony to the British authorities, according to the Telegraph.

On March 22, 2017, the deadly rampage began when an SUV struck pedestrians on Westminster Bridge in London. Four pedestrians were killed and an unarmed policeman was stabbed during the incident. Masood was fatally shot by the police. Dozens of people were injured during the attack. An investigation revealed that Masood had acted alone.

The police said that Masood, an English school teacher, had sent SMS messages to several friends before the alleged attack.

The March 2017 attack was the first of a series of extremist attacks on British soil in 2017, during which dozens of people were killed. The bomb attack on a concert hall in Manchester in May, the attack on London Bridge and the Borough Market in June and the attack on a mosque in Finsbury Park the same month followed.
